Hi, I am Mahendra, a travel enthusiast based out of India. I am a management professional by weekday and traveler by weekends and long holidays. As a culture and heritage enthusiast, I am on a mission to cover 100+ UNESCO World Heritage Sites by 30.

I see people complaining about not getting time to travel as well as the cost associated with it. I wanted to curb the myth around both, and thus Weekendscape started. I believe travel is a therapy. On one gloomy day of 2016, when I was going through a rough patch, I packed my bags and went on my first solo trip. 7 countries and 50+ trips later, I can safely say that there’s no greater joy.

A firm believer of Tyrion’s philosophy of “I drink and I know things”, I read and occasionally conduct quizzes across India. I have an MBA degree from IIM Indore and did engineering from IIT BHU.
